I had an exceptional stay at The Royal Hotel London. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept wonderfully each night. I also appreciated the little touches—complimentary toiletries, high-quality linens, and a stunning view of the city. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcomed and satisfied. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to major attractions, public transportation, and great dining options. Despite being in the heart of London, the atmosphere inside the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. Overall, The Royal Hotel London exceeded my expectations in every way. Stayed here a year ago. The room was clean and comfy, the views out the patio doors would have been great if it was summer! Food and beer were amazing. Couldn’t fault the place at all!
I've read so many bad reviews on here about this place. There is a lot of scaffolding but it looks like they're doing the place up. Once inside it makes no difference. The room was big and the mattress was brand new. It was warm in the night but on second night had the window open in the bedroom and bathroom and was a nice breeze through. I paid £40 a night. The staff were lovely, polite and kind. The place is old but nice! I loved it here. So close to the station as I didn't drive. Right on the Thames which was a lovely little walk. Overall epic stay.
We were greeted by nicholas at reception and he was a very friendly, outgoing person, amazing service from him, made us feel very welcome
Booked this yesterday as a last minute decision when we arrived and saw the scaffolding outside and looking very run down we did have out doubts, but we checked in parking easy guy who dealt with us decent enough. Rooms clean very basic bathroom definitely needs some attention, you really need some sort of vending machine I cant be the only one that's asked for a drink at 9pm and told no this was a bit of a negative just a bottle of water was needed. For 45 quid you really cant moan but I will say that the bed was amazing and had one of the best night's sleep ive ever had

An ordinary classic pub I have always known.. They’ve recently done a refurbished to modernise it and now it looked so much better and much more attractive. They’re doing well. It’s located right by the river Thames with a garden and it’s lovely during the summer time.
Didn’t stay just used the bar. Knew it was undergoing a refurb as had read the other reviews. Was going to stay but had a last minute change of mind to stay elsewhere unrelated. Bar was clean and tidy, smelt of paint after their refurb. Staropramen was very good. I can imagine after the refurb a pint outside looking into the river will be amazing!
